When you’re a teenager your brain can heal a lot of old stuff though, so surrounding yourself with people who like and love you, and helpful professionals like therapists, is a really good thing. We all have childhood trauma, and it’s so good to figure it all out so we can move on and have an amazing life. It’s hard work, but it’s so worth it! As helpful as this is, it just wouldn't work. He doesn't listen, doesn't like being touched, you can't do anything with him without him acting up, unless it's getting him something or doing something for him, but even so, most of the time after that he still acts up.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14503129866188751825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230387809004080736.post-62563263574838209972012-07-17T19:46:03.719+01:002012-07-17T19:46:03.719+01:00Oh my stars! We would end up having a huge fight, she would then scream about how much she hated me and stomp off. Now she barely speaks to me. How do I fix this? Please help me. Do the same things you said in your article apply or is there something else I should do?Debshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11182551400839368018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230387809004080736.post-87465291930059936142011-10-05T10:38:28.165+01:002011-10-05T10:38:28.165+01:00I gotta get my hands on that National Geographic!I gotta get my hands on that National Geographic!Nan Sheppardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02526627128978409559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230387809004080736.post-12171813088681547442011-10-04T17:18:30.385+01:002011-10-04T17:18:30.385+01:00Coincidentally I'm reading the latest National...Coincidentally I'm reading the latest National Geographic which has a feature story on teen brains--I need to prepare myself!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7230387809004080736.post-39760405547809736522011-10-03T22:00:54.931+01:002011-10-03T22:00:54.931+01:00I remember when my daughter was 13 and I picked he...I remember when my daughter was 13 and I picked her up from school, she was in tears and when I asked her what was wrong, she said: "I have no idea, I just can't stop crying".
