Change of Plans...

Well, I DIDN'T get a haircut, and I DIDN'T paint the cupboards, and I DIDN'T go to yoga yesterday. Or today.

I looked after Max, who climbed into our bed on Sunday night with a roasting fever. He is a little better this evening, so I MAY get some sleep! At one point yesterday morning, he fell asleep and woke up crying "Bones! Bones under the water! Look, in the river!" Luckily, I was lying napping beside him (having had no sleep at all the night before) so I could give him instant snuggles and sponge him down till he made sense again. I still have a gruesome image of the two of us, afloat on the bottom bunk, surrounded by a river of bones...

Anyway, this evening he ate a whole Hops bun dipped in beef-and-lentil gravy, so he must be feeling better.

And I might get some sleep tonight, but he knows he is welcome to call me or crawl into our bed anytime. I am sure he will, if he wakes up.

So for now, goodnight!

Nan, I'm catching up on the blogs (have been too busy in the last month to do anything but work/care for kids/laundry?/what???) and dang -- you are busier than me and crazier than me and you still post!!!

Hope life tames down soon.

Awe, poor Max & poor Mama! Hope you both get some restful sleep and are back to normal life very soon.
And fevered dreams are the worst:(
Here's some healthy vibes your way . . .
Hope he is feeling better. There is nothing like crawling into mom's bed when their not feeling well...
