Kicking and Screaming

Early this morning, Margo left for Trinidad with Mum. When I went over to lug suitcases and give kisses, Margo narrowed her eyes at me, "You're in on this too, are you?"

Margo had forgotten everything, and was convinced that we had plotted to get her out of her flat, and why had no-one told her she was going somewhere? Mum and my aunty steered her into the taxi amidst protestations, and when Margo tried to escape at the airport they wondered if someone would call the police.

Big sigh.

Hopefully this evening, Margo will be sitting on the porch happily sipping on a gin and tonic with Dad and watching the sun set over Venezuela, and will have completely forgotten the events of the wee hours of the morning.

Brace yourself, Pappi!
Bless you all- you're going to need it. Tell Bunty that they have bracelets that sound an alarm when the wearer crosses whatever threshold is forbidden (like their gate). My niece has one for her autistic son and breathes easier.

UPDATE: Mum says that Margo fretted on the flight but is now as happy as a pig in mud with her room all beautiful and air-conditioned and mama hens with chicks to feed. Stay tuned!

Tuned I shall stay. If Rory and Bunty are still on the Ajoupa Estate then Margo has a magnificent place in which to stay. And grand people to stay there with.

Good news..I visited Margo and she was happily basting cushions for your mum to take up to Brasso Seco. She also was thrilled that I brought Ryan along for the visit - they hit it off swimmingly! I have been there three times since and she always says "Oh hello, who are you, have we met before?" and "how old is this lovely little boy?" She's doing just fine and we've had some nice cool weather. Pappi is busy Margo proofing the place (hand rail installed on the steps leading into the kitchen) and Margo has lots to entertain her with all of your mum's Raku course people traipsing in and out. All that is missing is you Nan!! Amazing job vibes going your way so you can save up and come visit!

Thanks Sharon! A visit is FIRST on my list of things to do when I have the money!
