Peeps! It's a gorgeous day, truly worthy of Midsummer. Max faked sick, and as the morning went on it transpired that his friend Andrew is 'sick' too, so they are both here playing with Lego and cards and eating toasted ham and cheese sandwiches. Hmmm...
I've got a great post up at Work Your Way, and if you are a freelancer or small business in the UK you can get ten percent off recycled stationery... Head on over there!
This website was invented many years ago, when the author kept coming across interesting things in pockets whilst doing laundry. Like small, terrified reptiles. Blogging about raising children in the rainforest, moving them to the UK and watching them leave home one by one to have their own adventures has gradually been replaced by a return to grownup life for their mother, Nan Sheppard, who is an anthropologist, writer and public international law consultant.

Oh, there must have been a serious case of the Lego flu going around your end of the world!
Yeah, Andrew's birthday was this weekend and he got lots of Lego... Shoulda seen Lego-itis coming!
When I was a kid it was Tinkertoy Flu and Erector Set Fever. I'm glad to see there's still a "manual" toy that will inspire something like that old Lincoln Log Laryngitis we used to get.
