I'm a global citizen and anthropologist with a masters in international law and decades of experience in teaching, research, and storytelling to make the social and legal issues that shape our world understandable for everyone. This website was born in 2007, when I kept coming across terrified rainforest creatures in pockets, which my sons had determined were appropriate pets. My work is dedicated to all the young people who ask excellent questions to which I don't always have the answers.
