So. I am certainly having fun, messing about with email, lists of addresses, trying to coax a few more hours of usefulness out of the fast-dying Blackberry, making all kinds of silly mistakes, rushing off to work and then to the mobile phone shop with Sam in tow (*koff, koff,* "I am too sick to go to school, Mum. No, really!" *koffkoff*), and taking his expert nine-year-old tech advice: "EEEK, these Nokias are expensive Sam." "Well, how about an Ericsson? Remember the old one you had before they went digital? It worked for ever. It still works, for games and stuff."
Sold. One Ericsson Phone with Walkman thingy. It's small and sturdy-looking, and can plug into the laptop for internet. Ta daaaa!
In other news, geee wiz I have so much to do! Tomorrow I am not working, which is BAAD because work doesn't do itself, but the house won't organize itself either. I need to clone myself, and take turns. WOULDN'T THAT BE COOL? We could have an early-morning meeting over a couple cups of tea. Sort our day out, go through our lists, and have it all done by a reasonable hour. And from time to time, we could give each other a day off. Come on, now, wouldn't a clone be cool?
